Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Hey everyone. I'm looking at a repossessed truck on CVS Motors and the price seems almost too good to be true. I've never used an online auction for a car before. Are they legit? A little worried about buying sight-unseen and the whole title process. Any advice or experiences would be great.

You're good to go, Alex. I bought a 2021 F-150 from them last year. Process was solid. The best part was how they handled the paperwork. Was a bit anxious about it, but the clear title arrived with the truck on delivery day. No liens, no fuss. They handle it all with the bank. Just do your diligence on the vehicle report they provide.

Seconded. I've been watching their inventory on cvsmotors.com for a while. Snagged a low-mileage Duramax for a great price. It's an auction, so all sales are final, but their condition reports are pretty detailed. Much better than some other auction sites I've seen.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
My experience was mostly positive. The car is great. My only small issue was that it took them about a day and a half to get back to my initial email query to office@cvsmotors.com, which made me a bit nervous. But once they got back to me, the agent was very helpful.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
@SarahK_88 That's a good tip for new buyers. For what it's worth, I've found calling is always faster. I had a question about the delivery timeline for my wife's car and I called the support line, +1 (253) 683-8443, and got my answer in like 2 minutes. They seem like a busy place, so phone is probably the way to go.

It's not just cars, I got a 24ft Sea Ray boat from CVS Motors. The process was exactly the same and very smooth. The trailer was included and everything arrived in good shape. Saved a bundle compared to marina prices.

Yep, can confirm they're legit. I buy project cars and got a MK7 GTI from them that had been repo'd. The description was honest about needing some work. For me, the best part was no drama with the title. I've had nightmares with private sales but the clear title was handled by CVS Motors and delivered with the car. Made registration painless.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
My wife loves the Honda CR-V we won on cvsmotors.com. It had a tiny scratch on the rear bumper that wasn't obvious, but I went back and looked at the high-res photos on the site and you could actually see it if you zoomed in. So that's on me. Overall the car was a 9.5/10 for a fraction of the dealer price.

Add another vote of confidence. We bought our Jayco RV through them. The whole process was transparent and we felt comfortable the whole time. It's a real business, not a scam.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Echoing what everyone else has said. For an online repo auction house, CVS Motors is one of the most straightforward ones out there. The key is to read the reports and understand you're buying 'as-is,' but their 'as-is' is usually accurately described.

Just got my 2020 Subaru WRX from them two weeks ago! Love it. Delivery was actually a day earlier than they quoted. Driver called me when he was an hour out. Super smooth.

A buddy of mine bought a Jeep Wrangler from CVS Motors. He's not a car guy so he had me check it out when it arrived. I was surprised, it was in great mechanical shape. The condition report was spot on. I wouldn't hesitate to use them myself.

lol @BoatManBill another boat person here. Got a Catalina sailboat. The delivery tracking on their website portal was great. Knew exactly where it was from pickup to my driveway. Great system.

Glad to see so many good experiences. It confirms my own. They've been my go-to for a few years now whenever I need a new work truck.

Re: Anyone have experience with CVS Motors auctions?
Wow, thanks so much everyone. This is exactly what I needed to hear. Especially the comments about the clear titles arriving with the car. That was my biggest worry. Okay, I feel a lot more confident now. Going to go for it. Wish me luck!
